The Mention of Reindeer with Christmas
To start off with things, when you look up the internet many times, in maximum places you will find that there are mentions of why reindeer is used. In many places, there is a very interesting answer, which is though partly, not fully, still, that reindeer is associated with winter season as reindeer is a type of deer mainly available in cold regions like the arctic regions and winter is all about Christmas. Now, if this is the base on which the answer lies, then what happened to the polar bears? Why not take them?
The main reason of reindeers being involved with Christmas starts mainly from the poem A Visit from St. Nicholas, a poem written by Clement Moore. This was then followed by the famous song, Rudolph, the red nose reindeer, a song named The Night before Christmas, which follows mainly from the poem written by Clement Moore. Thus, you can say this is one of the reasons why reindeers are involved with Christmas. There may be other reasons too and may also be the reason of reindeer being a winter animal (if combined with Moores poem).
Thus, this is no real-life story or any fairy tale regarding why reindeers have suddenly been associated with the festival of Christmas. It all mainly came from the poem of Clement Moore, and then the entire concept got inherited. It is that inherited concept that we are living on for days and days and also for the days coming up.
